Located in both Cap-Rouge and Ste-Foy, Jacques-Cartier Park offers a 2,5 kilometers natural trail dedicated to walkers only. The beach itself, the wooded path, the picnic area, all offer peace and are excellent for the observation of aquatic fauna.
( 4079 chemin Saint-Louis ) The Cartier-Roberval archeological site is located on the promontory where the Cap Rouge and St. Lawrence Rivers meet. The onehectare site bears witness to the first attempts by the French to colonize the St. Lawrence Valley between 1541and 1543. Its rediscovery in 2005 represented a major milestone in our knowledge of North American history. The Commission is responsible for developing the site and enhancing its artifacts.

(1460 rue Provancher) The Saint-Félix-de-Valois Church was illuminated on December 11th, 2004. This church was built in 1859 at the mouth of the Cap-Rouge River. The creators privileged a white light for the arrow and the body of the church's tower. This light mixes with a gold-coloured lighting coming from the carillon's chamber symbolizing the influence of the church on its believers.
(4165, chemin de la Plage Jacques-Cartier) The Fresque de la découverte is located on the reception wall at the nautical park center, at the bottom of the park Cartier-Roberval. During the summer 2007, eleven young people, of Compagnons-de-Cartier and Rochebelle high schools, put in use their talents. Overseen by artists of the Groupe Muraliste of Quebec as well as by two teachers, the students worked on the creation of this big picture. Through its content The Freque represents the history of Cap-Rouge.
