Square of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church

(410, rue St-Jean) The square of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church is a pedestrian connection between the streets located north and south of rue Saint-Jean.  The restructuring of the square's church, which turns out to be Joseph Ferdinand Peachy masterpiece, allowed a requalification of a public place in this downtown neighbourhood. It also contributed to emphasize Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, classified historical monument in 1991. Since then, the new square became the theatre of several cultural events.
