Saint-Sauveur en fête is a large-scale public celebration that has attracted some 25,000 local and foreign visitors each year for the past 60 years. The festivities take place on the Saint-Vallier Ouest Street, which is closed off for the occasion on Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Programming includes dancing, music, open air dining on the street and games for children…Come and join us!

( 260 boulevard Langelier ) The cemetery of Hôpital-Général de Québec lies within the confines of the Lower Town’s Saint-Roch area. It includes a memorial to the Seven Years’ War, and the mausoleum where the remains of New France’s commander in chief, the Marquis de Montcalm, were interred after he was mortally wounded in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham on September 13, 1759.
